Santiago (Chile), 1985. He graduated with a film degree from ARCOS Professional Institute in 2013, showing a strong inclination towards socio-political cinema throughout his degree. He directed the short films Carroña (2011) and De todos los santos (2012), which were included in the official shortlist for the 7th Kratkofil Plus International Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the 55th Bilbao International Documentary and Short Film Festival, respectively. In 2014, he completed Los resentidos, a fictional short film that featured in various film contests, including the XIII International Film Students Meeting which was held as part of the 62nd San Sebastian International Festival.

After his time in Ikusmira Berriak, El Extraño, produced by Carroña Films, was selected to be part of the Zabaltegi – Tabakalera Selection of the 64th San Sebastian Film Festival. In October 2016, the short film also participated in Zabaltegi – Tabakalera Season that took place in the International Centre of Contemporary Culture of San Sebastian.
