Ser e voltar (2014), his first experience in the field of non-fiction, was premièred at the 67th Locarno Festival and has recently received the Canal+ Prize and Jury Special Mention at the 37th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.

In July 2016, the feature film Trote, produced by Frida Films, received financial support from the Galician Government. Last year, AGADIC, the Galician Cultural Industry Agency, allocated 2 million euros to the audiovisual industry, and granted 259.000 euros to Xacio’s project. The Galician Television also supported a part of the project. The shooting of Trote will start in mid-2017.
